Happy 5th Birthday

5 years ago my life changed forever. My beautiful midget came into this world. It hasn’t been easy and there has been times when I have wondered if I have done a good job at being his mum/dad. But then he comes up and gives me a cuddle and tells me he loves me to the moon and I know I have done ok. Happy Birthday Addison Robert Charles Errock. I love you to the moon and back and you are the best thing that has ever happened to me! xoxo

Throwback Thursday

I am feeling a little sentimental at the moment so I thought I would do Throwback Thursday for a bit and share some of my old photos!

So this is Me with my mum. I am guessing I have just come home from the hospital! and for those who would like to know I am a spitting image of my mum. Proof. Here is a photo of me at around the same age!

Sexy old guys

So when I was a kid my sister and I had a list of sexy old guys! of course back then anyone over the age of 35 was old. In my 20’s I still had that list and thought that anyone over the age of 40 was old so the age bracket rose. Now I am 30 and 40 isn’t really that far away so I have had to raise the age. So 50 is the new 40! So now to share with you my top 5 sexy old guys.

Who makes your list of sexy old guys?

Firefly – Why were you cancelled!!!

So those who follow my facebook page would know that I borrowed this show off of a friend to watch. I had heard about it and it got my interest. 2 nights ago I started watching it and I haven’t gone to bed before 1 am since! I am loving it. I can’t believe it was cancelled. not to mention that it came out 11 years ago and I am only hearing about this show now! It is the most amazing show. For those who have never heard of it the basic story is that this team of 9 are a bit like space cowboys. They are free agent smugglers. It is set 500 years from now in space but it is like a western. So a sci-fi western. AWESOME RIGHT. Nathan Fillion plays the lead role and he is amazing. All the cast are perfect for the roles they play and they play them so well. Not to mention that after doing some research  out of the 9 main cast members have voiced a character in an animated superhero show and 5 have had a role in Angel and a couple have even been in Stargate. Nerd heaven right there! So currently I have watched 2 disks and I have another 2 plus the movie to go. I highly recommend this TV show and if you can get your hands on it and watch it then you should because it is well worth it!

50 Shades of…..

So last year curiosity got the better of me and I read the 50 shades of grey series and as badly written as it was I actually enjoyed the storyline behind it. If I get into a book t doesn’t take me long to read it. I managed to finish all 3 books in a weekend! I didn’t sleep! I have since read it again. If you can get past all the sex in it then the story line is actually a decent one. Predictable but decent. Out of the 3 books I enjoyed the second one the best. I think that was because she could actually get on with the storyline and really develop the characters. I hated the 3rd book though. I just thought that she had run out of steam by that book so it just seemed to go on and on. I can say though through all the hype I have set up my dream cast for this movie and imagined myself in the role of Ana (Although I see myself as more of a Kate then an Ana). I can’t wait to see how they do the movie (Because They will make one) but I think the only way that it will be anywhere near the book is if it is R rated. So I will sit here dreaming of Chris Pine being Christian Grey and biting my lip in the hope that some extremely good looking  billionaire CEO will take notice of me!

Have you read the 50 Shades of Grey books? What did you think? Who is your Christian Grey?

Chiropractors are my friend!

So have I ever mentioned how much I love my chiropractor? Because I totally do. I started seeing one about a year ago much to the disbelief of my family who all think chiropractors are witch doctors and are completely pointless! It was the best move I ever made! I have had back problems since I was a teenager. The joys of being rather large up front has played havoc on my back. While not chronic I always have had some back pain and thought I really need to looking at seeing a chiropractor, but never did. Last year however I decided to take the plunge and make the appointment as my back was getting really bad. My back was in a pretty bad way as we discovered during my first few appointments and I was going weekly for about 2 months just to try and get it into a decent state. Finally I graduated to 2 weeks and 3 weeks and finally the goal of monthly visits!  I was feeling better and sleeping better too. It was great. But then of course I had to go and fall off a horse (You can read that story here). So it was back to weekly visits for 6 weeks, then 2 weeks and 3 weeks and I am proud to say that I have just reached monthly visits again! I think that’s pretty exciting. The ultimate goal is to get to only having to go every 6 – 8 weeks and I am hoping I can get to that point by the end of the year.

I am actually onto my second chiropractor. Still in the same practice though. My first chiropractor was a very good looking young man (Well he was about my age I think). Gosh I used to love going to him to have a good perve! He was wonderful though and did some great work on my back. however once I got to my 4 weekly visits and just after I fell off the horse he left. I didn’t even get to say good-bye. So I started fresh with a new chiropractor who has dealt with my back since I fractured it. I have to say my new chiropractor is pretty awesome as well. I have a female now and she is just lovely! She has realised that I am stubborn, we always have a laugh when I go in and she wants to take my son on as a trainee! (He likes to ‘help’). But again she is fantastic and lovely and I am happy to have such an awesome chiropractor. Oh and I have to mention how nice and friendly the reception staff is as well. As soon as I walk in they greet me by name and they always have the time for a chat with my son. Its just a really great environment to be in!

So the question is.. Do you see a chiropractor or something similar?
